About Tami & James

I created this blog to share some handmade items. It was a few years ago that I really started to enjoy sewing and quilting. The items you see here are available for purchase. Each item can be customized to one's wishes and wants whether it be a blanket or jeweled watch. I would love to do so for you. Contact me at tudgirl@hotmail.com for questions and information.

Coffee Table

While sitting on guard in Afghanistan, I found myself with plenty of time to think. I decided to design some furniture and this coffee table was the first. I'm glad that I finally found the time to build it. I used Red Oak for everything but the bottom shelf and the piece of wood that the time is sitting on. (I couldn't find red oak big enough).

Tami helped me a bit with the tile and we are so glad that it's done and we finally have ourselves a coffee table. Maybe now I'll start on some nightstands next.
